The Department of Conservation (DOC) is launching a pilot project to introduce paid parking systems at three high-traffic tourist destinations: Punakaiki Pancake Rocks, Franz Josef Glacier, and White Horse Hill in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. The project aims to support efficient management of car parking at sites with high traffic volumes, reduce environmental pressure, and generate revenue through innovative car park improvements, parking management technologies and enforcement services.
DOC is not taking questions at this time. Future Procurement Opportunities are to advise the market of potential upcoming opportunities which may or may not be progressed. If the project is progressed, you will be notified. Any further information about this opportunity will be available on GETS if/when we go to market
