Overview

Construct a new 36 Bunk Hut at the existing Pouakai Hut site located on the Mangorei Track located in Te Papa Kura O Taranaki (Egmont National Park). The scope includes demolition of the existing 16 bunk hut, construction of a new 36 bunk hut, 4 toilets, wastewater management system, retaining walls, site works and vegetation removal to allow construction of the hut and associated buildings and remediation of the site following construction completion.
