The Department of Internal Affairs is interested in a system which has grants management and customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities for our Hapai Hapori I Community Operations group to better support whanau, hapū, iwi and communities meet their aspirations through community advisory and funding support.

We are looking for credible providers who can provide a scalable solution to enable us to provide customer advisory services and manage a high number of grants applications reliably and seamlessly.

Following on from our initial advance notice to market, and subsequent changes made to our engagement approach, we are seeking further information across several areas, to inform our approach to market.

The key outcomes of this RFI are as follows;

For DIA to understand some specific key technical capabilities of the systems in the market, so we can understand how these capabilities would align with our business needs, and;
For DIA to understand how customer relationship management and grants management capabilities work together in each solution to then group and align our business requirements to what makes sense for the market.

Subject to internal approvals, the likely release of the RFP will be in early August 2023. This opportunity will be advertised on the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS).
