Forsyth Barr Stadium is owned by Dunedin Stadium Property Limited (DSPL) and managed by Dunedin Venues Management Ltd (DVML). As well as managing the asset, DVML also source and secure appropriate events, plan, host and deliver events to high standards and facilitate community access to the venue.

DSPL and DVML are both Council Controlled Organisation (CCOs), and wholly owned subsidiaries of Dunedin City Holdings Limited (DCHL). DCHL is also a Council Controlled Trading Organisation (CCTO), wholly owned by the Dunedin City Council (DCC).

Together DVML and DSPL are requiring the services of a supplier to carry out an in-depth conditions assessment of the stadium’s infrastructure and components. The result of the assessment will be to reset the rolling 30year lifecycle costing in the Asset Management Plan (AMP), for asset conditions, planned expenditures, and replacements. The selected supplier will be required to work with the current asset management software SPM and to assist with updating the current 2021 AMP document.

This Stadiums AMP has been jointly developed by DVML and DSPL. The purpose of the AMP is to set out the activities required to ensure the assets and components are managed over their lifecycle in the most cost-effective manner while enabling the achievement of DVML’s and DSPL’s strategic objectives as set out in their respective Statements of Intent.
