Dunedin’s Social Wellbeing strategy (2013-2023) outlines that the Dunedin City Council (DCC) contributes to social wellbeing through the provision of community housing, particularly for older persons.
The DCC community housing portfolio consists of 942 units across 91 sites. In order to fulfil our obligations as a good landlord the Dunedin City Council seeks to establish a panel of Suppliers through this RFP process for interior maintenance work required when a tenant vacates a unit.

We need to partner with Suppliers that are able to either self-deliver and/or manage subcontractors for trade related work in the areas of:
 Cleaning;
 Carpentry & joinery;
 Plumbing;
 Electrical;
 Painting & wall papering; and
 Floor coverings.

We do not want suppliers who can deliver only partial services or are unable to manage subcontractors.
