Overview

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the supply of National Waste Removal and Minimisation Services. This will be an open syndicated procurement lead by the department on behalf of all eligible agencies.

This procurement will result in an open panel of providers delivering a range of waste removal, recycling, and minimisation services that incorporate circular economy practises.

We are undertaking this project in two phases:

This is PHASE ONE: National Waste Removal and Minimisation Services
An open RFP for providers who can deliver services across ALL waste streams with nationwide coverage.

PHASE TWO: Regional/Local Waste Removal and Waste Minimisation Services
A streamlined open RFP process for all other service providers where they may not meet the full scope requirements in phase one that we intend to release later this year.

The proposed contract term is up to 7 years with up to one right of renewal for up to a further 3 years. This will be an open panel, where providers may apply to join the panel at staged intakes throughout the life of the contract.

NOTE: The department will not, in general, enter into any communications regarding PHASE TWO before the publication of the Phase Two RFP.
