Environment Canterbury is the Canterbury Regional Council who own and manage forestry blocks alongside various rivers in Canterbury. These blocks are partially managed for flood protection, soil conservation, recreation, biodiversity, and timber production.
We are seeking contractors who can conduct land preparation using ripping and mounding methods for our post-harvest & new afforestation sites. This calendar year we have at least 130 hectares of cutover requiring replanting. We require the successful applicant to manage the site and complete the work to specifications prior to planting. We require the work to occur from 1st June 2024 to 14th July 2024.
Price weighing is the most important aspect to us with additional weightings on quality of work, and health and safety management.
