Overview

Environment Canterbury is offering property developers and investors the opportunity to acquire the leasehold interest in one or other of two separate properties (or both), which adjoin its Tuam Street head office, to enable the sites to be developed while keeping the land in public ownership. The properties are ideally located near the Christchurch bus interchange and Te Kaha, Canterbury’s new multi-purpose stadium, while benefiting from being next door to a substantial public authority and the Enterprise Precinct Innovation Centre (EPIC).

Canterbury Regional Council, trading as Environment Canterbury (Council), is seeking one or more experienced property developers and/or investors wanting to avail themselves of two exciting and rare opportunities to develop and invest in Christchurch CBD land owned by Council.
Indicative proposals will be accepted from respondents for one site or the other, or both sites.
