Overview
Environment Canterbury invites tenders for the excavation of 2100t of rock from the Hapuku River and its placement for flood protection works on the Kowhai River.
This Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to:
(a) Excavation etc to recover rock (approximately 2100 tonnes Hapuku River)
(b) Prepare bank for rock by battering at 2H:1V, including recovery and placement of any existing rock that meets specification.
(c) Load, transport and stockpiling and/or placing of recovered rock.
Rock currently stockpiled by contractors may be considered for placement at the discretion
of the Engineer.
