Overview

What we need

Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB) requires sections of Hospital Road to be repaired as part of the 2021 Phase 3 Middlemore Hospital pavement repair program.
The scope of pavement repairs is Hospital Road, between starting as indicated approximately 150 metres north of the Entry 1 roundabout, to the Entry 2 roundabout. Refer to Drawing 3233375-CA-0000-C3001, List of Drawings at Appendix xx.xx

What’s important to us?

Hospital Road is the main road providing access to the Hospital, Staff and Public Parking from the North. Continued access to this road is critical for all thoroughfare traffic, the Public and Personnel alike.
A Risk Assessment and Mitigation plan (aka Traffic Management Plan) must be developed and submitted by all short listed Respondents.

Why should you bid?
This is an opportunity for your organisation to demonstrate your technical competence and engineering prowess, working collaboratively with one of the largest District Health Boards in New Zealand.

A bit about us
Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB, CM Health, CMH) is one of the 21 District Health Boards (DHBs) in New Zealand. It is one of the top performing DHBs in New Zealand and is responsible for meeting the health and disability needs of the second fastest growing district in New Zealand, which will number 650,000 people within 15 years. One third of the ethnically diverse Counties Manukau population lives in high levels of socio-economic deprivation and there is high prevalence of related health conditions. The district also has the fastest growing population aged 65 years and over and the largest consumers of health care services. These factors mean that demand for health services is growing at a faster rate than population growth.
