The purpose of this call for Registrations of Interest (ROI) is to select a shortlist of Respondents who will be invited to submit a full proposal in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP is to select a preferred contractor (the Preferred Contractor) for the construction of an additional Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and an extension to the Dialysis Unit at the Middlemore Hospital (the Project) with whom Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB) may enter into an early contractor involvement agreement (ECI Agreement).
Under the ECI Agreement, the Preferred Contractor would agree a contract price and detailed programme (amongst other things) for construction of the Project with CMDHB and would enter into a pre-agreed form of construction contract for the Project with CMDHB should CMDHB award the construction contract to the Preferred Contractor under the ECI Agreement.
