Overview

This procurement relates to the delivery of Passive fire, toilet remedials and ensuite upgrades for the Middlemore Hospital Scott building.
The system reimplementation and delivery will be performed in stages to provide an incremental execution of the facility, maintenance and building asset management capability.

The ideal contractor would have relevant experience carrying out similar Projects within the DHB environment. Initial forecast from CMH clerk of works indicate a 2 – 3 weeks implementation timeline per ensuite.

A robust construction methodology will need to be formulated alongside the Project team to ensure minimal disruption to clinical staff BAU operations and functions.

Concurrent Ensuite execution and delivery will be considered in order to expedite the construction phase programme.

Please Note that the number of ensuite refurbishment is dependant on clinical/ service ability to sustain disruptions to BAU and ensuite closure availability for refurbishment works.
