What we need
CMH seeks registrations of interest for the supply and installation of approximately 2 to 4 prefabricated modular operating theatres and associated services to its Manukau Health Park site.
The modular theatres are envisaged to be entirely complete, ready for connection to the pre existing hospital infrastructure ready to meet immediate demand capacity requirements of additional theatres and flexibility.
What is important to us
Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health park are currently experiencing theatre capacity issues due to the growing acute and elective surgical demands. It is our intent that these modular theatres provide immediate additional capacity by reducing delays for acute patients & completing more elective surgeries and accordingly time is of the essence. The buildings are to be of a permanent nature and therefore, overall cost, construction, and appearance are also important considerations
Why should you bid?
This is an opportunity to assist CMH with providing much needed clinical services to its populace. The services provided are required by the entire community and all of us and our families can be directly touched by this need. Accordingly this is an opportunity to help the better health for our community.
A bit about us
Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB, CM Health, CMH) is one of the 21 District Health Boards (DHBs) in New Zealand. It is one of the top performing DHBs in New Zealand and is responsible for meeting the health and disability needs of the second fastest growing district in New Zealand, which will number
650,000 people within 15 years. One third of the ethnically diverse Counties Manukau population lives in high levels of socio-economic deprivation and there is high prevalence of related health conditions. The district also has the fastest growing population aged 65 years and over and the largest consumers of health care services. These factors mean that demand for health services is growing at a faster rate than population growth.
