Crown Infrastructure Partners Limited (“CIP”) has been mandated by Government to find and provide financing solutions for Bulk Housing Infrastructure (“BHI”), being water (waste, potable and storm) and roading necessary to enable an increase in the supply of housing.
Many Councils are currently restricted in their ability to borrow the financing required to construct BHI without impacting their existing debt ratios with Credit Rating Agencies. CIP is developing commercial models, including those that will enable co-investment from the private or any other sector, to finance BHI in ways that will increase the supply of housing and that will not materially impact Council balance sheets.
CIP requires capital markets and corporate advisory services to assist in the finalisation of the commercial models and their implementation.
