Crown Fibre Holdings Limited (CFH) was originally established in 2009 to manage the Government’s $1.345 billion investment in Ultra-Fast Broadband infrastructure (UFB1). The Government has announced that a further investment of between $152 million and $210 million is to be made available to extend UFB to further towns/areas that are not covered by UFB1 (UFB2).
The Government has appointed CFH to manage the Government’s investment in UFB2. Accordingly, CFH is running this “Expansion of coverage of Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB2)” Request for Proposal to seek proposals from Respondents to partner with the Government (through CFH) in UFB2. Further information about CFH can be found at www.crownfibre.govt.nz.
