Overview

Clutha District Council (CDC) are inviting tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the above contract. CDC will publish the Tender on GETS.
The extent of the work is described in this Request for Tender document and key items of work are:

Supply and installation of 2,840m (approx.) of new 125OD PE100 water supply main mostly in private rural farm land with some areas inside public road reserves.

Supply and installation of all valves, fixtures and lateral service connection pipework to reinstate water supply to affected properties.

Testing, chlorination, de-chlorination and commissioning of the new water main and connection into the existing public networks as shown on the Drawings. Work in compliance with CDC-Rule G11: “Hygiene Code of Practice”.

Organising for Council and Engineer witness of all requirement compliance testing, including council operations team liaison and witness when connecting the new water main to the public water supply network.

Obtaining of all required permits and approvals to undertake the work, including supply of water for pipeline commissioning.

Decommissioning and abandonment of the existing water supply main, extent as shown on the drawings.
