This contract is for the supply of all plant, labour, and materials for the construction of the
Milton Main Street Streetscapes as set out within the Contract documents and shown on the
Drawings. This specification applies to this project and shall be read in conjunction with all
appendices and sections of the Contract documents.
Tenderers are required to price three different options for the works in their submission for
consideration by the Principal, of which only one option of the Principal’s choosing will be
selected for construction. It is the intention of the Principal to develop a contract around the
chosen option so both parties will have clarity around what is to be constructed prior to
signing the contract. The total sum of all three options will be used to evaluate the price
component of the tender submission.
The proposed works are located within central Milton, consisting of streetscape works, 3
waters infrastructure, power and telecommunications, and roading works.
- The scope is as described in the drawings and specifications, key items of which
include:
- Active and proactive contract management and detailed quality assurance to achieve
streamlined development compliance and issue of titles.
- Design, Development, and implementation of an approved Contract Management Plan
(Safety, Environmental and Quality) including obtaining Council Engineering approval
of this.
- Site clearance / Demolition
- Streetscapes construction
- Removal of unsuitable materials / surplus materials from site
- Main drainage and services, including lateral connections.
- Roading construction including pavement construction, kerbs, concrete footpaths,
sealing (both Chipseal and Asphalt)
- Working around existing services
- Site handover back to Client.
- Other associated and miscellaneous works.
