Bay of Plenty District Health Board is calling for Registrations of Interest from suitably qualified Main Building Contractors (Supplier) who may be interested in tendering on a Preliminary and General and Margins basis for the above project works.

Scope:
The BOPDHB has a provided new Angiography Suite in located in another part of the hospital. This frees up the existing space for conversion to an additional CT Scanner room to be co-located adjacent to the existing C T Scanner facility and providing a common control room.

The work will also involve provision of a new preparation room, accessible toilet and plant room in the basement to house the CT scanner line filter and UPS. The work will be undertaken in 3 stages to allow one CT Scanner to be in operation at all times. The work will happen adjacent to operational hospital services and will require coordination to work around the day to day operation of the hospital. Some work will need to be undertaken outside normal working hours when the hospital activity is at a low ebb.

The work involves formation of new lead lined walls, windows and auto sliding doors, electrical, nurse call and data, HVAC and medical gases modifications, new vinyl to floors and part walls, plumbing and drainage to WHB and WCs, stopping and painting.
A number of the main subcontractors will be nominated by the BOPDHB.
