The Bay of Plenty District Healthboard (BOPDHB) has an extensive, mainly Cisco based network delivering critical health information systems to two main hospital sites and several smaller clinic locations.
Day to day maintenance, support, moves, adds and changes are carried out by BOPDHB staff. The BOPDHB maintains its own Change Control processes and provides its own on shelf spares for a portion of the active equipment hardware.
The BOPDHB wishes to establish an on-going partnership with an organisation capable of providing higher level support services, as well as providing a channel for cost effective Cisco network procurement. An important element of the partnership is the ability of the Cisco partner to work with the BOPDHB in developing and potentially delivering a roadmap for network development aligned with BOPDHB business and clinical goals.
The BOPDHB is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced Providers to submit their proposals for provision of specific support services and network procurement services in accordance to the requirements detailed in the RFP.
