Bay of Plenty District Health Board is calling for Registrations of Interest from suitably qualified Main Building Contractors (Supplier) who may be interested in tendering the above project works.
The existing building, known as “Central Core” is currently being partly demolished from a five level structure down to 2 levels plus basement under separate contract. The separate works also includes removal of “Santon” building located to the eastern side of Central Core.
The Scope of work is for the refurbishment of the existing “Central Core” building comprising of the two remaining floors over basement, the provision of a new roof and roof access to same, make good of exterior facades with minor alterations, refurbishment of approx. 130m² of part adjoining Dawson Building ground and first floors, construction of a new link corridor (Link 3) at ground floor between Central Core and the adjacent Main Hospital Building, and provision of a new small single office to an area formally used as a covered dispatch landing. The project will include works bordering occupied spaces.
Through this ROI process, the Bay of Plenty District Health Board intends to identify a shortlist of Suppliers who then may be invited to participate in a closed Request for Tender (RFT) process for this Contract.
