Overview

BOPLASS Limited (BOP Local Authority Shared Services) would like to extend an invitation for organisations to tender for the: RFQ – Local Government Collaboration Portal Platform and Redesign.
BOPLASS is a Council Controlled Organisation established to promote shared services between local authorities. BOPLASS Councils are responsible for delivering services across a large geographic area including the Bay of Plenty, Taupo and Gisborne regions. More information can be found on our website: www.boplass.govt.nz

Two years ago BOPLASS developed a Collaboration Portal for councils across New Zealand to collaborate on projects and services, and to share information. To date we have approximately 500 users from 72 councils and government agencies nationwide using the portal. The aim of this RFQ is to revisit the design of the Collaboration Portal to make it more fit-for-purpose for our users and to reduce our operating costs.

We are seeking an organisation to support this initiative and assist in the design and development of an updated portal. We envisage the engagement to also include ongoing support and the opportunity for profile within the New Zealand local government community.
