BOPLASS Ltd is a Council Controlled Organisation owned by the BOP Regional Council (Bay of Plenty Regional Council), Rotorua District Council, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, Kawerau District Council, Tauranga City Council, Opotiki District Council, Whakatane District Council, Taupo District Council and Gisborne District Council and has been established to promote shared services between local authorities in the Bay of Plenty/Gisborne Regions and elsewhere.
BOPLASS Councils are committed to maintaining safe and healthy work environments for all staff and anyone affected by our operations.
BOPLASS and the participating Councils wish to engage with an Occupational Health Services provider for a new collaborative commercial arrangement. This will be delivered through individual contracts with the participating entities. Associated invoicing etc will therefore be directly with the individual participating entities.
The final number of BOPLASS councils participating in a collaborative contract will be determined after responses to this RFP have been received and evaluated.
It is envisaged that the process will involve the providers engaging with BOPLASS to both ensure their understanding of the service requirements and to outline the services the provider believes best meets the BOPLASS Councils’ needs.
The scope of this tender is for the provision of expert Occupational Health Services to mitigate organisational risks, enabling each Council to manage Occupational Health and other services on a continuous, consistent and independent basis.
