Auckland Transport (AT) is a Council Controlled Organisation (CCO) of Auckland Council (AC). AT provides transport services to Auckland’s 1.7 million residents and its visitors. Our day-to-day activities keep Auckland's transport systems moving; planning, delivering, and operating the region’s public transport system, delivering, and maintaining the local road network, managing on and off-street parking, delivering and maintaining the active transport system, promoting travel choices and planning for the future.
AT seeks and intends to procure and appoint a minimum of three (3) and up to five (5) lead consultants (or consortium) to a Transport Engineering Professional Services (TEPS) supplier panel that will deliver end-to-end engineering professional services for transport-related projects, ranging from business cases through to investigation, design, construction management, and close-out activities on the AT network. The TEPS supplier panel term will be for a maximum of 5 years (3 +1 +1).
The services that we are seeking include:
• Investigation works/ feasibility studies;
• Topographical Survey;
• Scheme assessments;
• Preliminary design;
• Detailed designs including geometric designs;
• Safe System Assessments (SSA);
• Economic evaluation;
• Transport modelling;
• Peer reviews (of items within the services listed here);
• Quantity surveying;
• Planning & consenting;
• Traffic resolutions report;
• Public consultation;
• General civil design;
• Lighting Design;
• Construction management; and
• Structural, Pavement, Stormwater, Geotechnical, Business Case, Quantity Surveying, Engineer to Contract and Construction Management support services (associated with
TEPS work
The following services are excluded from the Panel scope of services:
• Professional services for Road Asset Maintenance and Renewal (covered separately under another panel);
• Walking and Cycling Detailed Design.
• Rail and Ferry Services including vertical structures; and
• Services for projects with greater than $1m value of professional services per stage.
AT is seeking suitably qualified and experienced consultants (or teams) that can provide these services and work collaboratively with us as tiaki of the transport system in Tāmaki Makaurau.
