Auckland Transport is seeking a suitably experienced legal service provider to support AT’s procurement programme of new ferries, ferry infrastructure and development, and tendering for a new ferry operator (targeted to commence providing ferry services in 2023).
AT is seeking the services of a provider experienced in complex public transport procurements to work with AT’s Ferry franchise programme team providing legal advice that supports the procurement programme through each phase. The programme will have three phases, these being:
• Ferry vessel procurement;
• Ferry Infrastructure Procurement and Development; and
• Ferry Operator Procurement.
The legal services to be procured must at each phase facilitate completion of contracts between parties that ensuring that the obligations of the parties are recognised, and risks mitigated, Details of the likely scope of work are noted below.
