Description
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for Auckland Transport (AT) to procure approximately 10,000 light- emitting diode(LED) luminaires more or less prior to 21st of December 2018.
Auckland Transport is seeking a Supplier or Suppliers to manufacture and deliver LED luminaires with an equivalent or better lighting performance – but with reduced power consumption performance – to replace existing High-intensity discharge (HID) luminaires with each containing a 100 Watt lamp. There are three specific combinations of mounting height, average spacing, and out-reach “Arrangements” against which each Respondent’s proposed luminaire(s) will be evaluated.
To be considered for acceptance for any of the supply contracts resulting from this RFP, luminaires must be one of those listed on, and be shown to be fully compliant with the requirements for acceptance onto, the AT’s LED Approved Luminaires List [AT-LALL] attached at Schedule 1 (version 20, dated 5 May 2018). In addition, luminaires must satisfy all of the relevant and specific acceptance criteria set out in this RFP.
It is noted that only those LED luminaires which meet all of the specific acceptance criteria for one or more of the defined Arrangements (as described in this RFP), will be considered, and then only for the particular Arrangement(s) they comply with.
PRE-QUALIFICATION CONDITION:
In accordance with Auckland Transport’s prequalification procedures only those manufacturers/suppliers listed in the Auckland Transport – LED Approved Luminaires List [AT-LALL] are eligible to participate in this RFP (see Schedule 1).
