Auckland Transport is seeking a design solution that incorporates the ability of its maintenance supplier to carry out minor body repairs, and associated spray painting, the design of a wash pit for ‘post-incident’ cleaning and roof cleaning into one function.
The successful participant will be expected to deliver the following deliverable as part of the proposed contract services: -
Detailed Design
Tender Documents for the construction delivery of the designed facility.
Works package will include, but may not be limited to such factors as:-
1) Review of the current facility and its suitability to meet ATs requirements / changes.
2) Investigation and Optioneering based on requirements obtained from affected stakeholders e.g. AT Metro Rail, Kiwirail and Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) to develop a suitable concept
3) Preliminary design and concept design review as part of a Safety in Design and Risk Assessment Workshop.
4) Production of the ‘For Tender’ Detailed Design package, including: Technical Specifications, Schedule of Quantities, Basis of Payment and other design documentation.
