This request for tender seeks to procure a suitable contractor to complete the construction of Parnell Rail Station. Parnell is a new Station on the Auckland passenger rail network serving the suburb of Parnell, the Auckland Domain and the University of Auckland. The Station has been in operation since March 2017 and the remaining works will include installation of a raised concrete platform around the historic Parnell Station building and the formation of an access road and pathway to the station from Cheshire Street. This will complete the first phase of the project. Following the relocation of the historic station building and it’s refurbishment, additional platform areas and entries to the station can now be formed. The proposed works will cover piling, concrete works, asphalting, installation of balustrades and a sewer line connection. These works will provide the main entry to the Parnell station and access to the historic building. We are interested in hearing from established construction companies that can manage mutli-disciplinary works to complete stage 1 of the Parnell Rail Station. This is an opportunity to be part of the construction of a new rail Station on the Auckland network.
