Auckland Transport Technical Maintenance (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) Services Pre-Qualification Requirements

The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Repair and Maintenance services suppliers of an upcoming tender opportunity with Auckland Transport.

The tender’s scope will include the following technical or trades maintenance services across all public transport modes and parking, (but excluding Corporate Accommodation and Roading):
o Scheduled maintenance (planned proactive)
o Routine repairs (regular predictive reactive)
o Responsive repairs (irregular unplanned)

o Mechanical services include all Heating, Ventilation and Cooling, generator servicing,
o Plumbing includes all ablutions and pumping requirements, and
o Electrical includes lighting, electrical reticulation, non-BT UPS emergency lighting systems, transformers and generally including AT signage lighting.

The tender does NOT include the following soft services and specialist services:
o Security
o Cleaning
o Graffiti
o Marine
o Lifts
o Fire systems
o Access control
o Automated doors
o PAT
o BWOF
o Street lighting
o IT/BT UPS systems and comms cabling
o Outsourced advertising signage unless specifically included
o Overhead rail electrical reticulation
o Road and rail corridors
o General maintenance such as carpentry, painting, floors and furniture R&M.
