Background
Following a number of H&S incidents involving quad bikes, an internal review was conducted to determine whether there were alternative vehicles with improved H&S attributes. The AgResearch Executive, endorsed by the AgResearch Board decided to replace AgResearch’s fleet of quad bikes with alternative vehicles with improved safety attributes.
This procurement relates to purchasing LUVs, identified as having enhanced safety characteristics relative to quads, due to their roll-cages and wide wheel bases.
What we are buying and why
This RFP relates to the purchase of 18 LUVs. We may purchase a further 5-10 vehicles in the 6 months following this RFP, which need to be made available under the same terms and conditions as offered under the initial purchase
What we require: the solution
We are seeking a solution that provides high quality, fit for purpose LUVs and local servicing for LUVs at all our Farm & facility sites. We are looking for good value from a supplier who can supply the range of products described in our criteria, and a supplier with a proven good record of supply, delivery, service and support, of LUV’s to be used on our Farms and campus Facilities
