ACH Support Building - Lifts 5-8 Upgrade

ADHB wishes to engage a contractor for the design, supply and construction of the Auckland City Hospital A01 Support Building – Lifts 5-8 Upgrades.
The ACH Support Building service lifts are operated and controlled by the original lift systems installed in 1970. This plant is now well past its normal expected life and is becoming increasingly unreliable. Faults and entrapments are now common. These lifts urgently need to be upgraded to modern technology and standards.
The Principal invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for this purpose. This will be a single step RFT procurement process, administered as an open tender and all relevant information regarding this tender will be made available to all potential tenderers via GETS.
The Contract Scope is to include the full design, supply, and installation of the Works in relation to the upgrade of four existing lift installations and also includes responsibility for maintenance of the affected lifts during the works and post completion maintenance.
The Contract Scope includes:
(a) All design and engineering professional services
(b) Design of the Works in compliance with the Technical Specification
(c) Design of all temporary and permanent works
(d) Design and specification of any enabling works necessary to comply with the Technical Specification and complete the Works
(e) Identifying, scoping and undertaking all surveys and testing required for the design of the Works
(f) Maintaining lift access (3 No. minimum) to all floors at all times
(g) Undertaking any enabling works necessary to achieve the Technical Specification and complete the Works
(h) Supply and installation of the Works
(i) All testing and commissioning and training
(j) Construction record and O & M manuals and post-completion support
(k) Maintenance of the existing lifts during the works
(l) Maintenance of the lifts after Practical Completion
