Through this Request for Information (RFI) we are seeking input and ideas on innovative business models for delivering client transport and/or companion services for ACC clients with a goal of improving access, experience for clients and managing costs effectively.
ACC clients take approximately 45,000 trips per month to attend treatment and rehabilitation services, and to support their everyday lives whilst recovering from injury or maintaining independence. Demand for the service has grown and we need to ensure that appropriate controls are in place to help manage spend and ensure spend is efficient.
We are eager to engage with the transport sector, community groups and Iwi to explore how ACC can purchase client transport services across the motu which are safe, reliable and suitable for clients with a diverse set of needs. Respondents should present ideas with a focus on giving ACC assurance of the quality and effectiveness of the service through data transparency and tight performance management.
