The purpose of the Managed Rehabilitation Equipment Service is to source, arrange trials, issue, deliver, recall and collect, store, track, refurbish, repair and maintain, dispose and manage warranties or guarantees of rehabilitation equipment for ACC Clients to assist in restoring the Client’s independence to the maximum extent practicable.
Rehabilitation equipment is a reusable aid that assists a client with their daily living activities. This includes a wide range of equipment, e.g. a buttering board to assist with meal preparation or a power chair for mobility. ACC is responsible for assessing our clients’ needs and providing the rehabilitation equipment required because of personal injury.
ACC needs a supplier of rehabilitation equipment (Supplier) that will maximise the opportunity to continually improve this service.
