A bit about us

Accident Compensation Corporation (“ACC”) is a crown entity and is governed by a Board appointed by the Minister for ACC.

ACC provides comprehensive, no fault personal injury cover for all New Zealand residents and visitors to New Zealand by working to reduce the overall incidence and impact of injury in New Zealand through the delivery of injury prevention, rehabilitation and compensation services.

When injury does occur, ACC gives people access to a range of medical, financial and other support aimed at helping them return to work and everyday life as quickly and fully as possible.
ACC enters into contracts with Suppliers to provide services to New Zealand residents and visitors to New Zealand.


We need your help

ACC recognises the wealth of knowledge and expertise within the sector and seeks participants with accident and medical knowledge to attend one of four workshops to assist ACC in a collaborative redesign of the Accident and Medical Service (A&M) contract.

The goal of the service review and redesign is to ensure ACC clients have access to an integrated, high quality sustainable service for their urgent/unplanned care needs which supports their medical home (the general practice team where the client is enrolled).
