Overview

In the next month ACC will be releasing a Request for Proposals for the development and implementation of the Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) Guiding Principles.

The aim is to reduce HAI and treatment injuries and improve patient outcomes.

The ACC Infection Prevention project team have collaborated with DHBs and private hospitals on a number of innovation, surveillance, education and research projects and a significant gap has been identified in the guidance resources available to health leaders to address health acquired infections. Without an endorsed evidence-based guidance framework, organisations are struggling to appropriately size and apply good infection prevention strategies.

ACC will be looking for credible providers who have proven capability, experience and infrastructure to deliver the development and implementation of the Healthcare Associated Infections Guiding Principles and a best practice framework across primary care, and in public and private hospitals.

Anyone interested in this opportunity will need to have a track record of developing and implementing health-related content, have effective networks and strong relationships in the healthcare sector.
