Urgent Care Clinic - Franklin District

ACC is seeking applications from interested Respondents who have the capability, experience and infrastructure to provide ACC funded Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) services in the Franklin District.

Due to service gap in the Franklin District ACC is requesting applications from suitable qualified Urgent Care Clinics in the Franklin District.

NOTE - EXISTING CONTRACTED URGENT CARE CLINIC SUPPLIERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO RESPOND TO THIS REQUEST FOR APPLICATION.

The main purpose of UCCs is to provide episodic care on a no-appointment basis for ACC clients whose treatment cannot be safely deferred until regular or local general practice services are next available.

To be considered for this opportunity Respondents will need to ensure each facility where they would like to be able to provide the service is accredited against the Urgent Care standard (UC standard) and can meet all requirements of the UCC contract. This includes information sharing with the General Practice Team (GPT – the general practice where the client is enrolled as a patient); and meeting reporting requirements, such as submitting copies of audit reports against the UC standard to ACC.

Clinics will need to be open from at least 8am - 8pm, 365 days a year and must have appropriate staffing levels on site (a minimum of one Doctor and one Nurse).

Applications open: 4 September 2017
Deadline for responses: 3pm 29 September 2017
Advise Respondents of outcomes: November 2017
Anticipated Contract start date: 1 November 2017
