We are seeking Expressions of Interest from suppliers who have the capability to provide nationwide Medical Consumable Services (which distributes medical consumables and hearing aid batteries to ACC Clients in their homes) from 1 August 2017.

Suppliers must be able to demonstrate that they have the experience, capability and capacity to deliver a prompt, client-focused and cost-effective service which includes:
• sourcing a wide range of medical consumables (approximately 2,500 product lines) via cost effective and robust supply chain solutions;
• receipt and storage of medical consumables at appropriate warehousing facilities;
• active management of stock levels to ensure continuity of supply and minimal wastage;
• picking, packing and dispatching regular medical consumables orders to more than 3,500 ACC clients;
• delivering medical consumables to the client’s home or a point of contact agreed with the client;
• providing a secure, web based portal for ACC case owners and ACC’s contracted assessors to place and manage client orders for medical consumables;
• providing a secure, web based portal for hearing loss clients (approximately 60,000 clients) to re-order hearing aid batteries;
• providing a dedicated customer service function to respond to client, assessor and ACC queries;
• health sector experience and clinical background to support new product requests and liaison with case owners and assessors.

Note that we are running a two stage tender process and only interested parties who can demonstrate through this Expression of Interest that they meet the requirements of the service will be invited to participate in Stage 2, the Request for Tender.
