ACC currently purchase Home and Community Support Services (HCSS) via six Lead Suppliers. Our current HCSS agreements are due to expire in August 2017, for additional service information please refer to the Home & Community Support Services – Operational Guidelines.
Next year, we intend to go to market to enter into new contracts for these services.
Based on when the current agreements are due to expire, we’d normally expect to issue a tender, via the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) website, in March 2017.We are aware though that there are a number of sector changes around that date (for example full implementation of the Employment Standards Bill).
So before locking down a date in April for Request for Proposals (RFP) we’d like to hear back from you about the timing of our tender process. Could you please let us know if issuing an RFP in March/April 2017 would present any challenges or concern for your organisation, and if the latter, any suggested timing changes.
