ACC works to reduce the overall incidence and impact of injury in New Zealand, through delivery of injury prevention, rehabilitation and compensation services.
ACC is seeking applications from interested respondents who have the capability, experience and infrastructure to provide ACC funded Urgent Care Clinic services (UCC), which will replace the Accident and Medical (A&M) service from 1 July 2016. Urgent Care Clinics provide treatment services to ACC clients for injuries that need treatment more urgently than can usually be accommodated by general practice but don’t require the level of service provided at a District Health Board’s (DHB) Emergency Department (ED).
Please note – existing holders of the A & M contract will also need to apply as current contract arrangements will expire 30 June 2016.
Indicative timeframes for the registration and application process:
Registration period: 30 November 2015 – 14 December 2015*
Applications open: 15 December 2015
Clarification period: 21 January 2016 – 15 February 2016
Deadline for responses: 24 February 2016 at 12 noon
Advise Respondents of outcomes: Early May 2016
Anticipated Contract start date: 1 July 2016.
*If you have not registered your interest by 14 December 2015 you will be excluded from taking part in this opportunity.
