NOTICE TO NEW APPLICANTS OF CLINICAL SERVICES (CLS)
Who are we?
ACC works to reduce the overall incidence and impact of injury in New Zealand, through delivery of injury prevention, rehabilitation and compensation services.
ACC is a crown entity and is governed by a Board appointed by the Minister for ACC.
The ACC Scheme provides comprehensive, no fault cover for accidental injury for all New Zealand citizens, residents and visitors. When injury does occur, ACC gives people access to a range of medical, financial and other support aimed at helping them return to work and everyday life as quickly and fully as possible.
What is the purpose of this notice?
The purpose of this notice is to briefly describe the service being applied for and to guide applicants in how and when to submit their applications.
What are Clinical Services?
Clinical Services provide clinic based specialised assessment and treatment services for Clients who have an accepted ACC Claim. Suppliers of this service must be medical specialists who are vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Please note – existing holders of a Clinical Services Contract do not need to apply as current contract arrangements will stand.
What are the indicative timeframes for applications?
Indicative applications dates for CLS services are as follows:
Applications close* 5 June 2015, 4 September 2015, 1 December 2015, 18 March 2016
ACC commences evaluations 8 June 2015, 7 September 2015, 2 December 2015, 21 March 2016
ACC completes evaluations and notifies applicant outcome of application End of July 2015, End of October 2015, End of February 2016, End of April 2016
* Incomplete applications and applications submitted after the closing date will not be accepted.
How do I submit my application?
All CLS applications and supporting documentation must be submitted electronically to ACCHealthTenders@acc.co.nz according to the timeframes specified above.
