This RFI aims to formally gather information from speciality operators about the market and the business delivery model options that may be available for the future operation of Auckland Council Holiday Parks.
What Auckland Council needs:
Auckland Council owns, manages and operates the following holiday park portfolio:
• Martins Bay Holiday Park
• Whangateau Holiday Park
• Orewa Beach Holiday Park.
Auckland Council is seeking information from experienced Holiday Park operators in order to assess current competitive business delivery model options and consider whether a different approach, in the form of a commercial lease arrangement for the operation of the holiday parks*, may offer greater value and benefit to our customers.
*Whether this is for an individual holiday park, a combination of two, or all three.
This is a unique opportunity to assist Auckland Council define the future operation of the 3 holiday parks. Each unique holiday park offers the opportunity to change the operating model under a commercial lease arrangement, with the most suitable operators.
