Overview
Auckland Libraries, as part of Connected Communities, Auckland Council, is the largest public library system in Australasia. It has 56 community libraries and serves a diverse urban and rural population of over 1.6 million spread over 180 km from north to south. The 2018 Auckland census ethnicity figures show 53% identified as European, 11.5% as Māori, 15.5 as Pasifika and 28% as Asian.
This contract is for the supply of Māori and Pacific materials in hardcopy format. Supplier services may include pro-active sourcing and selection.
