This is a Notice of Information that Auckland Transport has published a request for Proposal on the Auckland Transport Tenderlink portal. Auckland Transport is developing the business case for the initial stages of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) project which connects the isthmus with the city centre.
The LRT Project has engaged Technical and Cost Advisors to assist in the development and costing of investment options. Please see https://at.govt.nz/projects-roadworks/light-rail/ for further information.
The purpose of this procurement is to seek a Financial and Commercial Advisor with experience in LRT, alternative funding model procurement and business case development to be appointed by May 2016.
The scope of service of the Financial and Commercial Advisor will include the following, subject to approval to proceed at various gateways:
- Business Case Phase: Responsibility for providing commercial and financial expertise in further development of the Detailed Business Case; and
- Procurement Phase: Responsibility for procurement planning, tender document preparation, tender evaluation and negotiation through to financial close in conjunction with the Project Team.
This RFP is a single-stage procurement process including a prequalification step (due 24 March 10:00am) and Interactive Workshops for shortlisted Participants. The RFP closes 7th April 10:00am.
