The South Canterbury District Health Board (SCDHB) is requesting proposals for the provision of twenty-four hour secondary acute, arranged and elective urology outpatient and treatment services, including surgery, in South Canterbury. The South Canterbury District has a projected population of 59,043 residents for 2015/16 and has the highest percentage of its population over 65 years of age of any DHB in New Zealand.
The SCDHB is happy to receive joint proposals for the provision of these services.
The SCDHB see this as a long term arrangement and will work together with the selected respondent(s) to ensure a sustainable service solution can be reached.
Dates for site visits, if required, will be mutually agreed between shor-listed suppliers and SCDHB.
