This RFP seeks to increase the access to, and choice of primary mental health and addiction services for youth populations (ages 12-24 years, inclusive). The services are to be provided to young people who are experiencing a mild to moderate level of distress. The expectation is that the development of these services will expand the continuum of support, treatment and therapy available for young people experiencing distress and promote early detection and intervention. This should include evidence informed therapy and treatment services, peer support, cultural support, self-management support and access to a range of social supports.
This RFP is specifically seeking proposals for services in the following geographic areas:
Hawke’s Bay
Taranaki
Tairāwhiti
Whanganui
For clarity, this RFP is not seeking the provision of a national service nor in areas where contracts for service already exist from prior RFPs.
