The Invercargill City Council is inviting tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the supply of all plant, labour and materials necessary for the renewal of approximately 586m of existing asbestos cement and cast iron watermains on Clyde Street, Invercargill between Wood Street and Tweed Street.
The majority of the new watermain is proposed to be installed in a new alignment. This includes the installation of all relevant mains, property connections, structures, fixtures/fittings, removal/abandonment of existing mains, disposal of excavated material to a consented site, and other minor works as detailed in the Tender Drawings and the Schedule of Prices.
